Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a score of 82.9, which is slightly better than Galaxy Note 4's general score of 81.6. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro construction is a lot newer, but a little heavier and a little thicker than the Galaxy Note 4. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 counts with just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a little bit less pixels per display inch, a quite lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a bit smaller display.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has less CPU cores and lesser RAM, it also counts with a GPU.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a way higher 40 megapixels resolution camera, a much bigger sensor shooting much higher quality pictures and a larger diafragm aperture.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 4. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Note 4, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
