Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5, getting an 82.9 score against 80.8. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's body is incredibly newer, but heavier and just a little bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S5 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro feature quite similar processors, because although the Galaxy S5 has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels quantity per inch of screen. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot larger sensor providing a way higher image quality, a bigger aperture and a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy S5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy S5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S5, letting go a couple specifications.
