The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7's 79.5 global score. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's construction is a lot newer, but somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy S7. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has 2 GB more RAM and 4 more cores.
Samsung Galaxy S7 counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2560, it also counts with a just a little greater display pixel density. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality pictures and videos and a much higher 40 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a really longer battery life than Galaxy S7, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S7. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy S7, resigning some features and specifications.
