The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a bit better than Galaxy S7 Active, having a general score of 82.9 against 75.8. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro design is newer and somewhat thinner, but also just a little heavier than Galaxy S7 Active. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a little sharper display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a little lower 1440 x 2560px resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher display density.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a quite bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S7 Active, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a lot better camera than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, giving up some features and specifications.
