Comparison review
Galaxy S9 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, having an 83.3 score against 82.9. Even when the Galaxy S9 and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro were released only 7 months apart, the Galaxy S9 is somewhat lighter and just a little bit thinner. The Galaxy S9 features a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
Samsung Galaxy S9 has a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2960 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels in each screen inch. The Samsung Galaxy S9 features a quite bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a superior battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S9, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light captures and video and slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Galaxy S9 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
