Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than Galaxy XCover Pro's 81 general score. Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is older than Galaxy XCover Pro, it's body is thinner and lighter. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a little bigger display, more pixels per inch in the screen and a higher 1440 x 3120px resolution.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro counts with a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a little better battery performance than Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 4% more battery size. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photos and video, it also counts with a way bigger sensor, a way higher video quality and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is more expensive than the Galaxy XCover Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy XCover Pro. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy XCover Pro, letting go a couple features and specifications.
