Galaxy Z Flip has a global score of 88.5, which is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro's global score of 82.9. Galaxy Z Flip is a newer cellphone, and it's also somewhat thinner and just a little lighter than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a higher 1440 x 3120 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a much better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Z Flip has a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a much more megapixels camera in the back and a way larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with greater battery duration than Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
