Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a little bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, having an 82.9 score against 79. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Xperia XZ2 Compact were only released 7 months apart, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro design is heavier but also noticeably thinner. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a bit more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, a really smaller screen and a lot lower 1080 x 2160 resolution.
Xperia XZ2 Compact features just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bigger storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that holds up to 400 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a much longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 2870mAh. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro captures just a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a bigger aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light environments, a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.
