The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a global score of 82.9, which is a bit better than the Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 global score. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro construction is noticeably newer, but a bit heavier and a little bit thicker than the Xperia Z5 Premium. Xperia Z5 Premium has a much better screen than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a higher 3840 x 2160 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit superior processor than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a greater amount of RAM. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has greater battery life than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 22% greater battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a F1.8 aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a back-facing camera with a much higher 40 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger camera sensor.
