Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi 12 Pro's general score of 79.6. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a incredibly older and a little thicker phone than Xiaomi 12 Pro, but Huawei was able to build it a little bit lighter anyway. The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a little more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a bit bigger screen.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a much powerful CPU than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Xiaomi 12 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 Pro count with incredibly similar memory for games and applications, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro captures better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking photographs in low light environments, it also counts with a back camera with a higher resolution, a way better video resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality videos and pictures.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro features just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 4600mAh of battery capacity.
