Xiaomi Mi 8 has a general score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro's score of 82.9. Xiaomi Mi 8 is a somewhat thinner and a bit lighter phone than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, even though both were released only a few months apart. Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and 6 GB of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 8, because it has a better 1440 x 3120px resolution, a quite larger screen and a higher pixel quantity per screen inch.
