Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has an overall score of 82.9, which is slightly better than ZTE Axon 20's score of 77.8. Even though the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a lot older and a bit thicker than the ZTE Axon 20, it's design is still just a little bit lighter. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit better screen than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
ZTE Axon 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro both have similar memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have equal internal storage. ZTE Axon 20 counts with a processor that's very similar to Huawei Mate 20 Pro's CPU, and although the ZTE Axon 20 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
ZTE Axon 20's battery duration is very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro one, although the ZTE Axon 20 also has a 0 percent bigger battery capacity. The ZTE Axon 20 has a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video, and they both have the same video resolution and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the ZTE Axon 20 also counts with a way higher 64 MP resolution back facing camera and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro costs more than ZTE Axon 20, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
