Comparison review
Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 20 X, getting a overall score of 78.7 against 75.6. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has older 8.0 Oreo version while Huawei Mate 20 X has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Huawei Mate 9 Pro is older than the Huawei Mate 20 X, it's design is extremely lighter and just a little thinner.
Huawei Mate 20 X has a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Both have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a much better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better screen pixel density and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro's storage for games and applications is very similar to Huawei Mate 20 X's one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a greater camera than Huawei Mate 20 X, although it has a smaller aperture and a much smaller camera sensor giving a way lower image quality, they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
The Huawei Mate 20 X features greater battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
