Huawei P20 Lite (2019) is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 X, getting a global score of 76.5 against 75.6. Both phones in this comparison review have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). Although Huawei P20 Lite (2019) and the Huawei Mate 20 X were released with only a couple months difference, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) design is a little thicker but also way lighter than the Huawei Mate 20 X.
Huawei Mate 20 X features a bit better processor than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 20 X also has more RAM memory. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher display pixel density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2310 resolution.
The Huawei P20 Lite (2019) takes a lot better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 X. Both of them have the same (Full HD) video definition, a same size aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate. Huawei P20 Lite (2019) features a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 X, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 X features improved battery performance than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
