Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is much better than Huawei Mate 20 X's general score of 75.6. Both devices we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 X has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Huawei P40 body is newer and much lighter, but also a little thicker than Huawei Mate 20 X.
The Huawei P40 has a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 X. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount. Huawei P40 has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixel density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Huawei P40 counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as Huawei Mate 20 X, both have the same internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 takes greater photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking photographs and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with faster video frame rate and a much bigger back camera sensor capturing lot higher quality videos and pictures.
The Huawei Mate 20 X counts with improved battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 32 percent bigger battery size.
