Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Huawei Mate 20 X, getting a score of 88.2 against 75.6. Even though Huawei P40 Pro is just a bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 20 X, it's a little lighter and also newer. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Pro has 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 X has Android 9.0 Pie.
Huawei P40 Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 20 X, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a little bit higher resolution of 1200 x 2640px.
The Huawei P40 Pro's memory for games and applications is very similar to Huawei Mate 20 X's one, both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 Pro shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a way bigger back camera sensor and faster video frame rate.
Huawei Mate 20 X counts with better battery duration than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
