Samsung Galaxy M30 is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20 X, with a general score of 82.4 against 75.6. Both devices in our current comparison include the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system). The Samsung Galaxy M30 construction is just a little bit thicker but notably lighter than the Huawei Mate 20 X, and both were only released 4 months apart.
Huawei Mate 20 X features a little better performance than Galaxy M30. Both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy M30 has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixel density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2280px.
The Samsung Galaxy M30 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 X, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M30 shoots way better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20 X, although it has a lot tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting way worse quality photographs and videos and a smaller aperture which is not nice for taking photographs and video in poorly lited environments, they both have the same video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
