Xperia XZ Premium is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20 X, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 75.6. Although Xperia XZ Premium is older than the Huawei Mate 20 X, it's design is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner. Huawei Mate 20 X has a bit superior processing unit than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 X also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Xperia XZ Premium has a much better display than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a much greater number of pixels per inch in the screen. Xperia XZ Premium takes way better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20 X, although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs or video in low light situations and a much tinier sensor which gives a way worse image and video quality, they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a little bit better memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20 X, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei Mate 20 X counts with a much longer battery life than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3230mAh.
