Comparison review
The iPhone 8 Plus is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, getting a general score of 87.1 against 79.5. IPhone 8 Plus's design is just a little thinner than the Huawei Mate 20, although it is just a little heavier and was released only 13 months before. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit more vivid display than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a quite worse quantity of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen, a bit higher 1080 x 2244 resolution and a brighter display.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. IPhone 8 Plus has just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a much better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 49% bigger battery size. IPhone 8 Plus takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a lot smaller camera sensor offering a much worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a same size diafragm aperture and a same resolution back facing camera, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with better video frame rate.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei Mate 20, letting go some features and specs.
