Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 has a global score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone's global score of 77.1. The Huawei Mate 20 design is just a little bit thinner and a little lighter than Asus ROG Phone, even when both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Huawei Mate 20 has a little more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2244px resolution, a brighter display and a bit larger screen.
The Asus ROG Phone has a much bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, because it has more internal memory capacity. Asus ROG Phone counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM. The Huawei Mate 20 and the Asus ROG Phone have incredibly similar batteries duration.
Huawei Mate 20 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has slower video frame rate, and they both have the same video resolution and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Huawei Mate 20 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it an easy decision.
