Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 global score. The Huawei Mate 20 design is just a little bit thinner and lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8, despite of the fact that it was released 5 years before. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a very superior CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a little bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a quite higher pixel density, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, much more brightness and a quite bigger display.
Asus ROG Phone 8 features a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 takes way better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality, a lot higher 50 MP resolution back-facing camera and a much higher 7680x4320 video quality.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a very superior battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5500mAh battery size.
