Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than Google Pixel 3a, getting a 79.5 score against 78.8. Although Huawei Mate 20 is better than Google Pixel 3a, we must note that it is also a noticeably heavier and a little thicker phone. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version.
Huawei Mate 20 features just a bit better screen than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a little bit worse display pixels density, it also counts with a bigger display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels. The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a. Both of them have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 20 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back camera with lesser megapixels, and they both have the same aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger sensor.
The Huawei Mate 20 has longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 3a, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your budget.
