Google Pixel 5 has a global score of 89, which is better than Huawei Mate 20's 79.5 general score. The Google Pixel 5 is a newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner than Huawei Mate 20. Google Pixel 5 has a processor that's very similar to Huawei Mate 20's CPU, and although the Google Pixel 5 has more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Huawei Mate 20 features a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 5, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels and a bit worse display density, it also counts with a quite larger display. Google Pixel 5 features as much storage capacity for games and applications as Huawei Mate 20, both of them have the same 128 GB internal storage.
Google Pixel 5 counts with a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. The Google Pixel 5 features just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same video quality, the Google Pixel 5 also counts with better 60 frames per second video frame rates, a bigger diafragm aperture and a back-facing camera with a better resolution.
Google Pixel 5 costs a little more than the Huawei Mate 20, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
