Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 10, getting a overall score of 79.5 against 78.9. Both phones we are comparing here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Huawei Mate 10 has Android 10. The Huawei Mate 20 construction is newer, but just a bit heavier and just a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 10.
Huawei Mate 10 features a bit more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little smaller screen and a quite darker display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a greater screen pixel density. The Huawei Mate 10 counts with just a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Huawei Mate 20 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate 10. Both of them have 8 cores and 4 GB of RAM. The Huawei Mate 20 and the Huawei Mate 10 count with incredibly similar batteries. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a 12 mega-pixels camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 10. If you want to save some money, you can get Huawei Mate 10, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
