Huawei Mate Xs is better than Huawei Mate 20, getting a overall score of 91.6 against 79.5. Although the Huawei Mate Xs is newer than the Huawei Mate 20, it's incredibly thicker and a lot heavier. The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit better screen than Huawei Mate Xs, although it has a quite smaller screen, a way worse 1080 x 2244 resolution and a just a bit lower pixels amount per screen inch.
Huawei Mate Xs features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Huawei Mate Xs has a bit faster processing unit than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate Xs also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate Xs features a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 13% larger battery size. The Huawei Mate Xs shoots clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei Mate Xs also has a way bigger sensor shooting much better quality photos and videos and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
