Even being the best cellphone in this review, the Huawei Mate 20 is a heavier and thicker cellphone than Huawei nova 3. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 20 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei nova 3, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better looking screen than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2244px resolution and a bit lower pixel quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit bigger screen.
Huawei nova 3 features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Huawei nova 3 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Huawei nova 3, although it has a way less MP resolution back camera and a lower video definition, they both have a same size diafragm aperture.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better battery duration than Huawei nova 3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
