Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than the Huawei nova 9 Pro, getting a 79.5 score against 79.3. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison review, the Huawei Mate 20 is a much older, just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone than the Huawei nova 9 Pro. Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and Huawei nova 9 Pro works with HarmonyOS 2 operating system.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei nova 9 Pro, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, a little smaller display and a just a little lower pixel quantity in each display inch. The Huawei nova 9 Pro counts with a processing unit that is very similar to Huawei Mate 20's processing unit, and although the Huawei nova 9 Pro has more RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Huawei nova 9 Pro's memory to install games and applications is very similar to Huawei Mate 20's one, both of them have equal 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei Mate 20 takes a bit better photos and videos than Huawei nova 9 Pro, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition and a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Huawei nova 9 Pro's battery life is just as good as the Huawei Mate 20 one.
