Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting an 81.4 score against 79.5. Although the Huawei P20 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 were released with only a few months difference, the Huawei P20 Pro is a little lighter and a little bit thinner. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P20 Pro has an older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a little bit lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2244px and a little larger screen. The Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes much better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality and a much more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
Huawei P20 Pro counts with as much storage capacity to install games and applications as the Huawei Mate 20 one, both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei P20 Pro's battery duration is very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 one.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Huawei P20 Pro is also by far the cheapest one, making it an easy decision.
