Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than Huawei P30 Lite, having a 79.5 score against 77. Although the Huawei Mate 20 is better than Huawei P30 Lite, it must be noted that it is also a somewhat heavier and thicker cellphone. These devices use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so they should provide the user the same OS features.
The Huawei Mate 20 features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P30 Lite. They have a 4 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate 20 has a slightly better looking display than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a bit worse pixels amount in each display inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244px, it also counts with a little larger display.
The Huawei Mate 20 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30 Lite, because although it has a back-facing camera with a much worse resolution and a smaller camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have a same size aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
Huawei P30 Lite counts with a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Huawei P30 Lite also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 features greater battery performance than Huawei P30 Lite, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 is a little more expensive than Huawei P30 Lite, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
