Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has an overall score of 86.4, which is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20's 79.5 score. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Huawei P40 body has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 20, but it is just a bit lighter.
Huawei P40 counts with a little better performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Huawei Mate 20 has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, it also counts with a little bit larger screen.
Huawei P40 shoots greater pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light images, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also counts with a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera, better 60 frames per second video frame rate and a lot bigger sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality.
The Huawei P40 features as much storage to install games and applications as the Huawei Mate 20, both have exactly the same internal memory capacity. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little better battery life than Huawei P40, because it has a 5% more battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Huawei P40 is also by far the cheapest, making it a great choice.
