Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a global score of 88.2, which is much better than the Huawei Mate 20's global score of 79.5. Both devices we compare here use Android OS, but Huawei P40 Pro has 10 version and Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P40 Pro's design is newer, but just a little thicker and heavier than Huawei Mate 20.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit sharper display than Huawei P40 Pro, although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution, a quite lower screen pixel density and a little bit smaller screen. The Huawei P40 Pro's memory for applications, games, photos and videos is very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 one, they have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better processing power than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has more RAM memory. Huawei P40 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with higher video frame rates, a lot larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a little better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
