Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than the LG G5, having a 79.5 score against 76.1. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. Huawei Mate 20's body is much newer than LG G5's, although it is thicker and heavier.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit better processor than LG G5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a higher number of cores. LG G5 counts with a screen that is very similar to Huawei Mate 20's screen, because although the LG G5 has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
The Huawei Mate 20 and the LG G5 have really similar cameras, because although the LG G5 has a tinier sensor, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, it also counts with a back-facing camera with much more mega-pixels.
The LG G5 features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a really longer battery life than LG G5, because it has a 43% more battery capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 is a bit more expensive than LG G5, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
