Huawei Mate 20 has an overall score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than LG V10's 78.6 global score. Huawei Mate 20's design is notably newer, just a little lighter and just a little thinner than the LG V10. These phones have Android OS, but the Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version while LG V10 has Android 5.1 version, so it gives you lots of additional features.
LG V10 features a bit sharper display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. The LG V10 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Huawei Mate 20 features a better hardware performance than LG V10, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a higher number of cores (and they are faster). The LG V10 has a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller sensor taking worse quality photographs, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG V10 also counts with faster video frame rate and a lot higher resolution back facing camera.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with superior battery life than LG V10, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG V10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG V10. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG V10, letting go some specifications.
