Comparison review
The LG V30S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 20's 79.5 general score. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the LG V30S ThinQ has older 8.0 Oreo version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. Even when the LG V30S ThinQ and Huawei Mate 20 were released only a couple of months apart, the LG V30S ThinQ is thinner and lighter.
Huawei Mate 20 and LG V30S ThinQ both have very similar screens, because although the LG V30S ThinQ has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2880px resolution and a higher pixel number in each display inch. The LG V30S ThinQ's processing unit is just as good as the processing unit in Huawei Mate 20, and although the LG V30S ThinQ has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The LG V30S ThinQ has a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Huawei Mate 20 features better battery performance than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
The Huawei Mate 20 has just a bit better camera than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a lower (4K) video resolution, a back facing camera with a lot lower resolution and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photography and video, it also counts with a lot larger sensor taking much better quality photographs.
Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 20. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the LG V30S ThinQ, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei Mate 20, giving up some features and specifications.
