Moto G 5G is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting a global score of 81.5 against 79.5. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Moto G 5G has the older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Moto G 5G body is much newer, but somewhat heavier and thicker than the Huawei Mate 20.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Moto G 5G. Both of them have 8 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM. Huawei Mate 20 features a bit more vivid display than Motorola Moto G 5G, although it has a little smaller screen, a bit lower 1080 x 2244 resolution and a just a bit lower pixel quantity in each inch of screen.
The Moto G 5G counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G 5G also has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in low light situations and a camera in the back with much more MP.
Moto G 5G features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Moto G 5G counts with better battery performance than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
