Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than Moto G31, getting a 79.5 score against 77. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Moto G31 has Android 11 version, giving a couple additional features and improved performance. The Huawei Mate 20 body is just a little bit thinner than the Moto G31, although it is a little bit heavier and was released 3 years before.
Huawei Mate 20 has a little sharper screen than Moto G31, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density and a bit worse 1080 x 2244 resolution, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. The Motorola Moto G31 has a much better memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
Huawei Mate 20 has a bit superior CPU than Moto G31. Both have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Moto G31 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Moto G31 also has a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Moto G31 has improved battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
