Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 has a score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy A35 5G's 79.4 general score. These phones come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy A35 5G has Android 14 version, providing some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Huawei Mate 20 is a way older and a little thicker phone than Galaxy A35 5G, but Huawei was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, because although it has a little smaller screen, a little bit worse pixel density and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, it also counts with much more brightness. The Galaxy A35 5G and Huawei Mate 20 both count with extremely similar storage capacity to store more games and applications, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory.
Huawei Mate 20 has a much better performing processor than Galaxy A35 5G, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Galaxy A35 5G shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same aperture and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A35 5G also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution back camera.
Samsung Galaxy A35 5G features greater battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery size.
