Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A40 has a general score of 79.6, which is a bit better than the Huawei Mate 20's general score of 79.5. Although the Samsung Galaxy A40 and Huawei Mate 20 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A40 is lighter and a little thinner. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A40 has older 11 version and Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy A40. They have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels density and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels, it also counts with a bit larger screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A40 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei Mate 20 has improved battery performance than Galaxy A40, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a back camera with a much worse 12 megapixels resolution and a tinier camera aperture, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a much higher 3840x2160 video resolution.
