Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, with an 83.8 score against 79.5. Galaxy A50's construction is lighter and just a little bit thinner than Huawei Mate 20, even though both were released only a couple months apart. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A50. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit better looking display than Galaxy A50, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a just a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a bit larger display. Galaxy A50 features a slightly better camera than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor which gives a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy A50 also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in low light situations and a lot higher 25 MP resolution camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a much better storage to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A50 counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the Huawei Mate 20 one.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy A50 is also by far the cheapest one, which makes it very easy to pick between these phones.
