Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A70, getting a overall score of 79.5 against 76.9. The Huawei Mate 20 is a just a bit thicker and just a little heavier phone than the Galaxy A70. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A70 has Android 10 version, so it gives some extra features and a performance increase.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has a little bit inferior amount of pixels per screen inch, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a quite smaller display.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy A70 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 captures greater photographs and videos than Galaxy A70, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Samsung Galaxy A70 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A70. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Galaxy A70, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
