Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, with a general score of 80.4 against 79.5. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition design is a little thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei Mate 20, although it was released a little bit over a year before. Huawei Mate 20 features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Note Fan Edition. They have a Octa-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a much lower quantity of pixels in each screen inch and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2244, it also counts with a quite larger display. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
Huawei Mate 20 features greater battery duration than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei Mate 20 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rate, a back camera with a 12 MP resolution and the same video resolution, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger back camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs more than Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 20. If you want to save some money, you can get the Huawei Mate 20, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
