Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S4, getting a score of 79.5 against 79. The Huawei Mate 20 is a much newer device than the Samsung Galaxy S4, but it's just a little thicker and way heavier. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy S4 has Android 4.4.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a lot smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater pixels quantity per inch of display.
Huawei Mate 20 takes much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has a camera with less mega-pixels, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video definition, a bigger aperture for better low light captures and videos and a way larger camera sensor taking much better quality photos.

Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S4, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Galaxy S4, giving up a couple features and specs.
