Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active, with a overall score of 79.5 against 75.8. Although the Huawei Mate 20 is a little bit heavier than Galaxy S7 Active, it's somewhat thinner and much newer. Huawei Mate 20 features a little faster CPU than Galaxy S7 Active, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei Mate 20 also has a greater number of cores.
The Galaxy S7 Active has a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a much smaller display and a lot more opaque display, it also counts with a lot greater count of pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. Huawei Mate 20 has a quite bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Huawei Mate 20 shoots clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 Active, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs in low-light situations, they both have the same video frame rates, a 12 mega-pixels back facing camera and the same video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active has a battery life that is very similar to the battery duration in Huawei Mate 20.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, giving up some specs and features.
