Comparison review
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting an 80.1 score against 79.5. Although Galaxy XCover FieldPro is newer than Huawei Mate 20, it is thicker and incredibly heavier. These devices work with Android OS, but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei Mate 20 and Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro both count with extremely similar processors, both have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a lot greater count of pixels per inch of screen.
Huawei Mate 20 features a lot better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs or video in low light situations, and they both have a same resolution camera, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a way better (4K) video quality and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a better memory for games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features just a little bit longer battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei Mate 20. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
