Comparison review
The Xperia XZ Premium has a score of 79.8, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 20's 79.5 global score. Xperia XZ Premium's design is a bit thinner than Huawei Mate 20, although it is just a little bit heavier and was released about a year before. Xperia XZ Premium has a more vivid display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has less brightness and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixels number per inch of screen and a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 20 has a bit more powerful processor than Xperia XZ Premium. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and 4 GB of RAM memory. Xperia XZ Premium captures just a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same camera sensor size, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a lot higher resolution back camera.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a little bit more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 20 has better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3230mAh.
