Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, with a score of 79.5 against 79. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo, so it gives you some extra features and optimized performance. Although Huawei Mate 20 and the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact were released only a few months apart, the Huawei Mate 20 body is heavier but way thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact features a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 20. Both of them have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a quite opaque display, a really smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a better pixel density.
Xperia XZ2 Compact takes clearer photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and videos, and they both have a 0.43 inches sensor and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with higher video frame rates and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has more storage to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports up to 400 GB. The Huawei Mate 20 features a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
