Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, with a score of 82.2 against 79.5. Despite being the best phone in this review, Xperia XZ2 Premium's construction is a lot heavier and a lot thicker than Huawei Mate 20. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little better performance than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a better looking display than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixel amount per screen inch, a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a little brighter screen. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a quite bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 400 GB.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same sensor size, the same video frame rate and a same size diafragm aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a camera with a much higher 19 mega pixels resolution.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei Mate 20. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Huawei Mate 20, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
