The Huawei Mate 20 has a score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Xperia Z5's 77.6 overall score. The Huawei Mate 20 is a newer phone than the Xperia Z5, but it's somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Both of these phones have Android OS, but Huawei Mate 20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little faster processor than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia Z5 has just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher amount of pixels per display inch.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xperia Z5, letting go some specifications.
