Comparison review
Huawei Mate 20 has a score of 79.5, which is a little bit better than TCL 20 Pro 5G's general score of 76.1. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and TCL 20 Pro 5G has Android 11, counting with a couple nice extra features. Despite of the fact that the Huawei Mate 20 is much older than TCL 20 Pro 5G, it's body is just a bit lighter and a little bit thinner.
Huawei Mate 20 features just a bit better screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, although it has a just a little lower screen pixel density, a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244px. The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little better hardware performance than TCL 20 Pro 5G, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cpu cores.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much better camera than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a same size camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a much better 48 MP resolution back camera.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1 TB. The TCL 20 Pro 5G features a little longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
