Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, having a 79.5 score against 77.5. Although Huawei Mate 20 is just a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max, it's a bit lighter and a lot newer. Huawei Mate 20 features a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
The Huawei Mate 20 features a more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because it has a quite bigger display, a just a little more pixels per inch in the display and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2244. Xiaomi Mi Max features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Max has greater battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 20, because it has 4850mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 takes clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a back camera with lot less mega pixels and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better captures and video in low light environments.
